The popular family footwear retailer will celebrate its expansion with a Grand Opening celebration on March 16th. The first 100 customers through the doors at 9:00 a.m. will receive a $10 reward card to use toward anything in the store.

Chef from Arts & Eats Restaurant to be featured at farmer's market

Bradenton, Florida -- Get fresh produce, local art and some tips from a guest chef Saturday at the Bradenton Farmers' Market.

More than 40 vendors will bring locally grown fruits, vegetables, plants, organic products, prepared foods and the work of local artists. 

On Saturday, Feb. 2 you will get a free Farmers' Market Bag and you and your family can join a grand scavenger hunt around all the activities.

Bradenton, Florida -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County is getting ready for its 58th Annual Christmas Tree Lot in the Westgate Shopping Plaza on Jessie P. Miller school property.

“It’s a family tradition to come out and pick your fresh cut tree,” said President Carl Weeks.  “We have families that met on the lot, got married and now bring their kids with them to pick out their family tree.”

Bradenton, Florida -- On Thursday, Oct. 18, Fifth Third Bank's Financial Literacy Mobile, the "eBus", will visit the 13th Avenue Dream Center.

During the event, residents will receive information about credit counseling and budgeting in English, Spanish and Creole. Free health screenings for adults and children will also be offered.

Winn Dixie: Voluntary recall in Central and South Florida stores

Central and South Florida-- Winn-Dixie announced an immediate voluntary recall of select cut fruit produced by the Renaissance Food Group Friday. 

The recall, taking place in Central and South Florida Winn Dixie stores only, serves as a precaution because the prodcuts contain a mango ingredient that has the potential of being contaminated with Salmonella braenderup, Winn Dixie representatives said in a release. 

The products with Daniella Brand Mangoes distributed by Splendid Products are a part of the recall. They are as follows:
