Bradenton, Florida -- The 18th annual Jewels on the Bay Designer Showhouse is currently underway featuring two homes located on a protected bayfront inlet on Lido Key, just steps away from St. Armand's Circle.

The two homes at 361 and 439 Boulevard of the Presidents are two very different architectural styles, Mediterranean Revival and Prairie-School. They are open to the public for tours now until Sunday, Feb. 17. Tours are offered Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Holmes Beach, Florida -- The Island Library's 8-month renovation project came to a close and the newly renovated library reopened to the public Thursday.

The $238,703 renovation project includes reconfigured book shelves, new ceiling tiles, a new Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system, new lighting, new carpeting, renovated restrooms, fresh paint indoors and outdoors, new Florida-friendly landscaping, irrigation repairs. 

Bradenton, Florida -- The Desoto Boys & Girls Club in Manatee County is getting a transformation! 

The center will get a new look thanks to Lee Worthington Homes who donated $30,000 to the second floor of the Desoto Boy’s and Girl’s Club.

“This whole space will be transformed into one of the best Boy’s and Girl’s Club teen centers in the area,” said Lee Wetherington, founder of Lee Wetherington Homes.
