Island Village Montessori School holds open house for new campus | News

Sarasota, Florida -- A new school will hold an open house on Clark Road Thursday evening for parents of students from preschool to 5th grade.

Island Village Montessori School's Sarasota campus currently has 175 letters of intent for the new campus with a projected enrollment of 200 students. The school says after the first year the campus will expand one year to 8th grade.

The school has been designed as a "high performing charter school" by the State of Florida. IVMS is a public, charter school serving Sarasota County students and families, however, residents of Charlotte, Manatee and De Soto counties may also apply.

The open house will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. at 1101 Clark Road in Sarasota.
