Traveling shootout in Bradenton | News

Bradenton, Florida -- It looked like a scene from an action movie, but it was all too real.

The sheriff's office says the occupants of two cars shot at each other as they drove down Whitfield Avenue Thursday afternoon.

When deputies received word of the traveling shootout, they set up a perimeter and searched for the cars.

Deputies say one managed to elude the search, but the second had turned into Hidden Acres Apartments. Two men were seen getting out of the car and running between apartments but weren't found.
