Fight over $5 FPL bill leads to arrests | Crime

Bradenton, FL -- A fight between roommates escalated into an armed robbery early Wednesday morning, according to Manatee County deputies.

Investigators say the dispute started over an Florida Power & Light bill at 407 Bryn Mawr Island.

At some point, investigators report 28-year-old Andreco Parker decided to cover his face with a mask, show a handgun, then demanded $5.

A second person, 28-year-old David Mays, also punched one of the victim's during the struggle, deputies say.

Parker and Mays fled, but were arrested a short time later.
