Police: Man shoots wife Thanksgiving night | Crime

Bradenton, Florida -- Manatee County deputies are searching for a man who reportedly shot his wife during an argument Thursday evening.

Authorities say Shamiko Dorelus was dropped off at Manatee Memorial Hospital by her husband, Evincse, around 7:40 p.m. She told deputies after he shot her after an argument at their home in the 1000 block of 35th Avenue Dr. E. No one else was home at the time.

Shamiko, 33, was treated for minor injuries and released. Detectives are still searching for 36-year-old Evincse.
